الصّحراء وأبعادها الثقافيّة في رواية "صحاري السّراب" لياسين نوّار

This study aims to explore the impact of the desert environment on Algerian literature and how it contributes to shaping the identity of characters and defining the course of events. The research focuses on the question: How does the desert environment influence character development and the evolution of conflict in Algerian novels, and what cultural, psychological, and social dimensions are revealed by this environment in the narrative? A descriptive-analytical approach was employed to examine literary texts that depict the desert.

The results show that the desert environment plays a key role in constructing internal conflict and highlighting social and political transformations. It also represents a complex symbol intertwining cultural reality with individual and collective tragedy.
