The problem of this research paper aims to explore the manifestations of the intellectual elite in Tlemcen’s interest in books and their copies at the time of the Ottomans in a request mode that relies on the narrative approach and its mechanisms represented by: investigation, scrutiny, statistics, description..., And other methodological tools that can help us highlight the extent of the great passion that was known to the scientific mind of the scholars of this city.
